How to find your way around the TourTask backoffice
The backoffice is where you and your staff run your business, at your business's own address. Each person sees only the menus their role and access allow.
The dashboard's cards
The dashboard is the first page after you sign in. Each card shows only to the people it concerns, and only while it has something to show.
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Finish setting up your business | What is left to set up, to administrators: see Getting started |
| Unpaid invoices | Your TourTask invoices to pay, with a warning when one is overdue |
| My work offers | Jobs offered to you that wait for your answer |
| Payments due | Bookings whose payment deadline is near or past |
| Reviews to handle | Low ratings nobody has handled yet |
| Translations need attention | Automatic translations that are stuck |
| Unexpected divergence, Readings to check | Vehicles that drove more than their tours explain, and readings to review |
| Recent bookings | Your latest bookings, and where they came from |
| Operations | Today's and tomorrow's activities, and what they still lack |
| Recently accepted jobs | Who accepted work offers in the last 7 days |
| Error log | Problems of the last 7 days with your channels, messages and translations |
| What's new | TourTask's newest features |
Texts in each of your languages
Names and descriptions that customers read have one tab per language of your business. Write a text in one language: saving fills the empty tabs, which show an info icon (Will be translated automatically).
Translate to other languages fills the other tabs from the one you are on, before you save. It uses your AI allowance. Your languages and automatic translation: see Languages and translation.
When a page says Page out of date
TourTask is updated often, and a page opened before an update can't save: you see Page out of date, and nothing is saved. Your changes stay on the screen: copy them, reload the page and make them again.
Your own settings
Click the account icon beside your name, top right, then Settings. There you choose the Language the backoffice speaks to you, your booking and payment alerts, and your Google Calendar. Log out is in the same menu.
Questions we get asked
Your business has one language. The tabs and Translate to other languages appear once you add a second one: see Languages and translation.
