The TourTask channel manager sells your tours and packages on Viator, GetYourGuide, Civitatis and other online travel agencies (OTAs).

The channel manager at a glance

One catalogue

Every OTA sells the tours and packages you already have.

Live availability

OTAs check your availability in TourTask before every booking.

Your choice per OTA

Switch each tour and package on or off for each OTA.

Your price per OTA

Cover the OTA's commission, or set your own markup.

One list of bookings

OTA bookings land in Bookings with all your others.

Several OTAs

Viator, GetYourGuide, Civitatis and other resellers.

Connect an OTA in five steps

Each OTA has a tile under Channel manager → Online travel agencies.

The OTA tiles, and your tours’ codes below them.
  1. 1

    Start integrating

Open the OTA's tile and click Start integrating.

  2. 2

Fill in what the OTA asks for

For Viator, choose your Country and Area and click Save; TourTask sets up your Supplier ID. For Civitatis, choose Generate API key in the page's ⋮ menu and give Civitatis the key.

  3. 3

    Set your prices

Under General pricing, enter the OTA's commission and choose Cover commission or Custom markup. Then click Save at the bottom of the page.

  4. 4

    Switch on your products

In Product pricing, turn on the switch at the start of the row for each product you sell there. New ones start switched off.

  5. 5

    Connect them on the OTA

In the OTA's own portal, connect each listing to its code from Copy code in the row's ⋮ menu. Civitatis does this for you.

Step-by-step guide for each OTA:

  • Viator
  • GetYourGuide
  • Civitatis
GetYourGuide: always choose Price per person

Answer GetYourGuide's “How do you set your prices?” with Price per person, even for a group or vehicle price. Then enter the Min, Max and Tiers from the product's OTA setup cell in TourTask.

Prices for each OTA

  • Cover commission raises your price to cover the OTA's commission. At 20%, a tour that costs 100 in TourTask sells at 125, and you still get 100.
  • Custom markup adds a markup of your choice instead.
  • Product pricing gives a single product a markup of its own.

Questions we get asked

Yes. Each tour package is one product on the OTA. Add options with another variant or add-ons through Manage, in the product's ⋮ menu on the Online travel agencies page.

On Civitatis, yes: Accept or Reject each booking on its booking page before the booking cut-off, or TourTask rejects it. Viator and GetYourGuide take only bookings that are confirmed at once. For them, choose Instant confirmation under Tours → Blocked Dates & Cut-Off, or on the tour.

Yes, on Viator's newer connection. On the older one, TourTask sends availability only: set your prices on Viator's portal, high enough to cover its commission. Not sure which one you have? Ask TourTask support.

They stay: the OTA can still look them up, change and cancel them. Only new sales stop.

More OTAs are added one at a time. Klook, Expedia Things to Do and Airbnb are not open to all businesses yet. TourTask does not connect to Bókun.

Each OTA takes its own commission. TourTask's own prices are on the pricing page.
