How to set up your tours in TourTask

A tour is what you sell: its texts and photos, when it runs, what it costs and what comes with it. You set it up once under Tours → Manage, and your booking widget, the backoffice and the online travel agencies you connect all sell it.

Setting up a tour

  1. 1

    Create the tour

Go to Tours → Manage and click Create tour. To copy a tour you already have, choose Start from an existing tour.

  2. 2

    Name and describe it

Under Name and descriptions, write the name in one of your languages, or click Generate with AI. When you save, TourTask translates it into your other languages.

  3. 3

    Add photos

Under Images, add a Main image and photos for the Gallery.

  4. 4

    Choose how it sells

Switch on Available as private tour, Available as group tour or both.

  5. 5

    Set when it runs

On each type's Schedule, add the start times or opening hours. A group tour also needs a Capacity: the seats of a departure.

  6. 6

    Set its prices

On each type's Pricing, enter the prices: see tour pricing.

  7. 7

    Publish it

Switch on Public and click Create.

Questions we get asked

No. A name in one language is enough: when you save, TourTask translates the tour's texts into the languages they are missing in.

Yes. Choose Duplicate tour in the menu at the top of the tour, and tick what to copy.
