How to give travel agents and agencies their own prices
An agent books your tours for their own customers, at prices you choose for them. Agents of the same company can share its prices as an agency.
Create an agency

Open Agencies
Go to Users → Agencies, click Create new agency and enter its Name.

Choose its price list
In Prices from, pick the price list its agents book on. It shows when you have more than one.

Choose its currency
Leave Currency on its Standard option to use the currency of that list, or pick the currency the agency pays in.

Set its discount and save
Under Tours, choose the Discount its agents get, then click Save.
Add an agent

Create the user
Go to Users → Manage, click Create new user and enter the agent's Name and E-mail.

Make them an agent
Switch on Agent. In its tab, type the name of their Agency and pick it.

Or give them prices of their own
For an agent without an agency, leave Agency empty and set their Prices from, Currency and Tour discount.

Click Save.
TourTask recognises an agent by their e-mail at checkout, so each agent needs their own.
The prices an agent pays
Each tour is priced from the first of these that has seasons for it:
- The agent's own seasons.
- Their agency's seasons.
- The seasons of their Prices from list: your usual prices.
Give an agent or an agency seasons of their own on Tours → Seasons with Add agent: see Seasonal prices. Once their seasons price a tour, a date those seasons don't cover shows Price unset for them.
The agent's discount comes off every tour and add-on, except those their own or their agency's seasons price: those are already their prices.
An agent pays in their agency's currency, or in their own when they have no agency. Once an agent or an agency has season prices, its currency can't change: for another currency, create another agency.
How an agent books
You book for them
Choose the agent as the booking's contact. The booking takes their prices, currency and discount.
On your website
The agent enters their e-mail at checkout, and the cart changes to their prices.
In TourTask Sales
The seller enters the agent's e-mail as the contact. See TourTask Sales.
Your website asks agents for no password: anyone who enters an agent's e-mail at checkout gets that agent's prices.

No: they buy at their own prices. To pay someone a commission on the customers they send you, make them a seller.
Their own seasons and prices are removed too, after a list for you to confirm. An agency's agents stay, without the agency. Bookings keep their prices.
