How to sell your tours through agents and other partners
Partners bring you customers or sell your tours for you. TourTask has a place for each kind, with its own prices or commission.
The kinds of partners
Agents and agencies
Travel agents and tour desks who book for their own customers, at a discount or prices you set for them. See Agents and agencies.
Sellers
A hotel desk, a restaurant or a shop that sends you customers through its own link or QR code, and earns a commission. See Sellers.
Other TourTask businesses
They sell your tours on their own website and channels, or you sell theirs. See Reselling.
Partner hotels
A hotel's own login shows which of your customers stay there, day by day. See Partner hotels.
How each one books and is paid
| Partner | How they book | How the money moves |
|---|---|---|
| Agent or agency | You book for them, or they enter their e-mail at your website's checkout | They pay you their own price for each booking |
| Seller | Customers book through the seller's link, or the seller books in TourTask Sales | Customers pay you, and you pay the seller a commission |
| Another TourTask business | It sells your tour on its website, in its backoffice or on its OTAs | Customers pay it, and it pays you your net price |
| Partner hotel | It doesn't book: it sees its guests in Lodging pax | Nothing goes through TourTask |
You pay sellers their commission under Economy → Pay → Commissions. What you and other businesses owe each other is kept under Economy → Partner settlement.
Add a partner
Agents, sellers and partner hotels are users of your business, each with its category. Other businesses find your tours themselves: see Reselling.
- 1

Go to Users → Manage, click Create new user and enter the partner's Name and E-mail.
- 2
Choose its category
Switch on Agent, Commissionee for a seller, or Lodging for a hotel. Each opens a tab of its own below.
- 3
Fill in the tab and save
Set the partner's prices, commission or hotel in its tab, then click Save.
Questions we get asked
Yes. A hotel whose front desk sells your tours can be a seller and a partner hotel: switch on both Commissionee and Lodging on its user.
Only their own part. A partner hotel sees the customers who stay with it, and a seller sees in TourTask Sales the bookings they made there. Agents have no pages of their own.
No: Viator, GetYourGuide and the others connect through the Channel manager.
