How to set and pay commissions to your sellers

   Open the page

   Go to Configuration → Commissions.

   Set the default

   Under Default commission, choose the Commission: Percentage of the booking, Fixed amount per passenger or Fixed amount per booking. Then enter it.

   Change single tours

   Under Rates per tour, give a tour its own Percentage of the booking or Fixed amount per passenger. An empty cell keeps the rate shown in grey, and 0 pays nothing for that tour.

   Save

   Click Save at the bottom of the page.

A fixed amount per passenger has an amount for each age group: type the adult amount, and TourTask suggests the others.

A percentage is worked out on what the customer paid, after discounts. A fixed amount per passenger is paid for each passenger on each tour of the booking. For a booking of two adults and a child, paid 300 USD:

When several rates could apply, the most specific wins: a seller's own rate for the tour, then the seller's own terms, then the tour's rate, then the default.

On a seller's Commissionee tab, under Users → Manage: Same as everyone follows Configuration → Commissions, Completely separate terms gives them a commission of their own, and Per-tour exceptions their own rate for single tours. Sellers with their own terms are named at the top of Rates per tour.

If you sell in more than one currency, Amounts in picks the currency of the fixed amounts you see and save. Set them in each currency: a booking earns the amount in its own currency, never converted, and can't be paid until there is one.

   Open the page

   Go to Economy → Pay → Commissions. A booking is listed once it is fully paid and its tour has ended.

   Choose the bookings

   Tick Paid on each booking, or click Check all. A table below adds them up for each seller.

   Pay

   Click View and pay, leave Send e-mail notification on to send the seller the details, and click Pay now.

Pay now records a payment you made yourself: no money moves through TourTask.

Click ? beside an amount to see How it was calculated, one line per charge, Which rule applied, with the rates it beat, and any Warnings. Once the commission is paid, it shows the amount as it was paid, even if you change your rates later.

The amount shows the reason in red, such as a missing rate for an age group or no amount in the booking's currency: fix it on Configuration → Commissions. A person who isn't a seller yet reads Please register user as commissionee in Users: switch on Commissionee on their user under Users → Manage.
