What is ArPix?

ArPix (ArPixPay) is a payment solution built for Argentine merchants and businesses that want to accept payments from Brazilian tourists through PIX, the instant-payment system most widely used in Brazil. Your customer pays from any Brazilian wallet or bank using PIX, typically by scanning a QR code, while you receive the funds credited in Argentina so you can keep operating normally with your local business. This makes it a convenient option for tour operators in Argentina serving a steady stream of visitors from Brazil. When ArPix confirms the payment, TourTask automatically marks the booking as paid and triggers the usual confirmation flow, sending notifications to your business and to the customer.

We don't have a step-by-step guide for ArPix yet. Search ArPix's website (or online) for how to obtain the API credentials listed above, then add them in TourTask with the steps below.

Add ArPix in TourTask

  1. 1

    Open the ArPix card

Go to Configuration → Payment options and click the ArPix card under Online payments → Payment gateways. Not there? Choose Show all gateways under the cards.

  2. 2

    Choose the country and currency

Pick the Country where your ArPix account and its bank account are, and the Currency travellers pay in. Click Add. To change either later, remove ArPix with Remove and add it again.

  3. 3

    Fill in your API credentials

Under Authentication, the card has a field for each:
    API key

Each field saves when you click out of it.

  4. 4

    Activate ArPix

Click Activate once every field is filled in. The card turns Active, and travellers can pay with ArPix on your booking page. Every payment goes straight into your own ArPix account: TourTask never holds your money.
