How to accept Apple Pay and Google Pay on your booking page
Travellers pay with the wallet on their phone or computer, without typing a card number. Both wallets run on your own Stripe account.
What travellers see
A wallet button
The wallet's button shows on your booking page, and the traveller confirms the payment in their wallet.
Paid at once
The booking is marked paid when Stripe confirms the payment.
Where the wallet works
Apple Pay on Apple devices and in Safari, Google Pay in Chrome and on Android. Elsewhere, travellers pay another way.
Add Apple Pay and Google Pay
Apple Pay and Google Pay are two gateways of their own, set up like Stripe Elements with the same Stripe keys.
- 1
Get your Stripe keys
Copy your secret key and your publishable key from Stripe, as the Stripe Elements guide shows.
- 2
Create a webhook for each wallet
In Stripe, create one webhook endpoint for Apple Pay and one for Google Pay, at the addresses in the Stripe Elements guide. Copy each endpoint's signing secret.
- 3
Add the Apple Pay card
Go to Configuration → Payment options, click the Apple Pay card, choose the Country and Currency and click Add. Not there? Choose Show all gateways under the cards.
- 4
Fill in the keys and activate
Under Authentication, paste the secret key into API key, the publishable key into Publishable key and the Apple Pay endpoint's signing secret into Webhook secret. Click Activate.
- 5
Do the same for Google Pay
Repeat the last two steps on the Google Pay card, with the Google Pay endpoint's signing secret.
Register your booking addresses in Stripe
The wallet buttons show only on web addresses registered in your Stripe account. Register each address travellers book on.
- 1
Open Payment method domains
In live mode, open Stripe's Payment method domains page.
- 2
Add an address
Click Add a new domain, enter the address and click Save and continue.
- 3
Add the others
Repeat for each address on the list below.
- ✓your own website, where your booking widget is;
- ✓yourname.tourtask.com, your TourTask booking page;
- ✓your TourTask website: yourname.tourtask.site, or its own domain.
Questions we get asked

Check that the address is registered in Stripe, with and without www, and that the device has the wallet. On an address that is not registered, card payments still work.
