TourTask Crew: the phone app for your guides and drivers
TourTask Crew is TourTask's phone app for the people who work your tours: guides, drivers and every other provider you assign. It shows each person their jobs from every business they work for, on iPhone or Android.

Setting up TourTask Crew

Give each person a login
Under Users → Manage, create a user for each guide or driver with Provider and Send welcome email switched on. They then choose a password.

They install the app
Each person installs TourTask Crew and signs in with that e-mail and password.

Assign them to tours
Assign them on the Operations calendar, or send them a work offer. The job appears in their app, with a notification.
Start tour and End tour
On a job with a vehicle whose distance you track, the crew press Start tour when the tour begins and End tour when it ends. While your business shows where the crew is, every job has them. Start tour opens 1 hour before the job starts, or when its day begins if it has no start time.
- Start tour asks for the odometer of each tracked vehicle, and End tour asks again: see Odometer readings.
- While your business shows where the crew is, a started tour also shares the person's position, if they allow it: see Location sharing.
Reminders on the crew's phones
TourTask Crew reminds each person on their phone, even without signal:
- At 18:00 the evening before each day with jobs.
- Before each job that has Start tour: 30 minutes before, or as set under Configuration → Staff reminders → TourTask Crew.
- At the end of a job whose tour is still started.
Each person can turn them off under Settings → Reminders in the app. A job assigned after the app last loaded gets its reminder once the person opens the app.

What your staff reminders let their role see, such as pickup places and phone numbers. Never booking totals, other people's costs, or passport and medical details.
Yes, while bookings may be marked as used under Configuration → Bookings: Scan tickets on a job reads the QR code on a traveller's voucher.
Partly: the calendar shows the jobs it last loaded, the reminders still ring, and odometer readings are sent once the connection is back.
