Venmo lets customers in the United States pay in USD straight from the Venmo app. It runs on your existing US PayPal business account and the same REST Client ID and secret as PayPal — no separate Venmo signup — and the button only appears to eligible US buyers on supported devices.
Venmo is a widely used mobile wallet in the United States. Your customer pays in USD directly from their Venmo app, and the payment is processed through your business's own PayPal account — no separate Venmo agreement is needed. It is available to US businesses selling to US customers. When the payment is confirmed, TourTask automatically marks the booking as paid and sends confirmations to both your business and the customer.

There is no separate Venmo merchant signup: Venmo acceptance comes with a US PayPal business account, and TourTask drives it with the same PayPal REST credentials the PayPal gateway uses. If you already take PayPal through TourTask, this is a two-minute setup with the credentials you have.
Venmo is available to US-based PayPal business accounts. If you don't have one yet, create it at paypal.com for your US business; eligible accounts get Venmo as a payment option without any extra application.
On developer.paypal.com, sign in with the business account, open Apps & Credentials, and use (or create) a live REST app. Its Client ID and Secret are the two values TourTask needs — the very same pair the PayPal gateway uses, so if PayPal is already set up in TourTask you can copy them from there.
In TourTask go to Configuration → Payment options, add Venmo (it is its own card in the list, separate from PayPal), choose USD, paste the Client ID and Secret, and press Activate. Customers then get a branded Venmo button: on a phone it switches into the Venmo app; on a desktop it shows a QR code to scan. The money settles into your PayPal account like any PayPal sale.
