Klarna — pay now, pay later, and financing on Klarna's hosted payment page. Requires a direct Klarna merchant account with a signed agreement for each country you enable; the gateway's country must be one of Klarna's purchase countries and the payment currency must be that country's local currency. API credentials (username and password) are generated in the Klarna merchant portal under Settings.
Klarna is a global payments provider offering pay now, pay later, and financing options on Klarna's hosted payment page. It is available in 26 markets across Europe, North America and Oceania, and requires a direct Klarna merchant account for each country you sell in. When Klarna confirms the payment, TourTask automatically marks the booking as paid and sends confirmations to both your business and the customer.
You can use Klarna if your business is based in one of these countries:
Your customers can be charged in any of these currencies:

To connect Klarna, you'll need these credentials from your Klarna account:
TourTask connects to Klarna directly — "Klarna through Klarna", not through a card processor — so you need your own Klarna merchant account. Klarna is strictly market-scoped: you sign an agreement per country, and each country sells in its own local currency only.
Sign up at klarna.com/business for the country your business sells in. Klarna runs a KYC review and you sign a merchant agreement for that country; to sell in further countries you add an agreement (addendum) per country later. Travel is an established Klarna vertical, but approval of each business is Klarna's decision. Once approved you get access to the Klarna merchant portal.
In the merchant portal open Settings and generate Klarna API credentials: a username (a UID) and a password (the API key). Production credentials come from the production portal; the playground portal issues separate test credentials that only work against Klarna's test environment. Note that Klarna disables credentials that go unused for a couple of months — a seasonal business may need to regenerate them before a new season.
In TourTask go to Configuration → Payment options and add Klarna. Pick the country your Klarna agreement covers — it becomes the Klarna purchase country — and that country's local currency (Germany → EUR, the US → USD, Sweden → SEK, and so on; Klarna accepts no other combination). Paste the API username and password and press Activate. Customers then finish the payment on Klarna's hosted page in their own language, choosing whatever pay-now, pay-later or financing options Klarna offers them.
